Through the Forgotten Lanes

North of Shahjahanabad, old city of Delhi, lie these forgotten remains, erstwhile eyewitness to the revolt of 1857. On the eve of this 63rd Independence Day, I  revisited some of these places which have lost their importance in the sands of time. Some of these quaint landmarks of the first revolution lie in deplorable condition, unattended and slowly disappearing from the pages of history.
